Thank you for your interest in the Wilderness Rescue Team. We welcome new members and encourage you to learn more about us. We currently have active members with various skills and credentials. We learn from each other and welcome the opportunity to learn from new members.
What's required of members?
Our membership page lists the qualifications we expect you to learn. We don't expect you to have all these qualifications when you join, just a willingness to learn. We expect you to attend 50% of all trainings, which are the 3rd Saturday of each month and pay dues of $75/year. The most important consideration is whether you have the time to commit to the team, not whether you have the skills.

How do you become a member?
The New Member Process spells out how you join the team. We hope that this new member process will not offend you. It is a formality that we must conduct for liability and other reasons.
Different levels of membership
If you decide that you don't have the time to commit to the team at this time, we also have a Supporting Member Program. You may make a donation to the team and you'll receive our newsletter.
